Part 4: Time As A Line

Time as a line starts when we are born and ends when we die.

As the line is stretching forward from the starting point, each event of our life is placed on that line. Sometimes the line is curvy, sometimes straight, sometimes, thick and sometimes thin. But the line keeps stretching forward and we keep adding multiple events to it sometimes happy, sometimes sad, sometimes emotional and empathetic, at times harsh and ignorant, sometimes love filled, sometimes hatred driven or indifferent, sometimes confident and sometimes nervous. It is the time which is an important factor in our lives and how we react to these events makes the base for the next event.

Amodinee is just going through one of those failure event, and her next event would be based on her reactions to her current situation.

So her mom wanted her to relax and take a few deep breaths and take control of her life back. She suggested her to go through a YouTube video which would help her to cope up with her situation.

Amodinee goes through the YouTube Video link. Study participants at Stanford were asked to look at a series of graphic and upsetting photos, then try to “reappraise” the images by making a joke about them.

And today my dear readers, I am going to share this link with you too.

Amodinee analyses her interview episode at night.

She takes a humourous approach, she talks in her mind –

“I always thought I was very smart. I thought only onions could make me cry. So life threw a coconut on me.”šŸ˜œ

she giggles and goes to sleep. Her mom came to her room to check if she was alright and was happy to see her sleeping

peacefully.

If Amodinee can change her approach, all of us can.

It’s just a matter of reaction to an action. What do you think?

Comment and do let me know what you think.

  1. It is true. If Amodinee can change her life, we can change ours too. When life throws lemon, it’s better to make lemonade. I liked the way you have described topsy-turvy nature of time that makes us experience various things in life. Amazing post.šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘
