Save from Summer scars


It’s hot and sunny. Summers leave you with scars if you aren’t prepared. Isn’t it? Recently one of my friend and her family went to South India for their summer vacation. With the nature’s beauty they also faced the heat of sun. So they decided to stay in hotel and enjoy in pool. Next morning, their skin was shaded in sun burn. And trust me it was bad. Her exposed skin turned black and wrinkled.

If you are planning for a vacation to a sunny place, you would want to know these summer hacks..

Pack these, they are your good friend!


First and foremost buy a good sunscreen. There are many brands available in Market. Look for SPF 40 or 45. My skin is extra sensitive so I don’t go out without a sunscreen.
My dermatologist told me even if you go in cold climatic places where there is snow, the ultraviolet rays are equally harmful.
I use #BelloPhotostable Sunscreen Gel SPF 40+ and I am pretty happy with it. Its UVA/UVB Protection, Water and Sweat Resistant. Best thing about it is it won’t clog pores (clogging pores leads to pimples).

You would like to only pack cotton loose clothes.Cotton is known for soft, breathable fabric. It will absorb the sweat and keep you fresh. Plus you can get amazing cool colours. I like #CottonWorld garments, they are really cool. But for style, no one can beat #ZARA.
Choosing cool pastel shades can help rather than dark shades.


Use a powder based compact, a lipgloss, eye liner. Loreal has a travel kit which is apt.


Must have! Must have! Must have!


Keep your eyes safe with sunglasses. Cat shaped glasses are in.


Trust me, this helps. When you don’t have these handy, you will feel as if the sun is sipping bodywater through straw.

Remember, if you lack Vitamin D, go all out in sun. Human skin can make large amounts of vitamin D when lots of skin is exposed and the sun is high in the sky. Your body is designed to get the vitamin D it needs by producing it when your bare skin is exposed to sunlight. The part of the sun’s rays that is important is ultraviolet B (UVB).
But I still think early morning sunlight is good, Not the afternoon.


Wear less. Bohomian style jewellery would look good in summer clothes. Pearls would also look good.


Carry slip ons, sneakers. You will feel comfortable.
